What we do
Red Interiors is a Brisbane based design team that works in South East Queensland working mainly in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Northern NSW and Toowoomba.
With over 25 years experience in the Design and Building Industry Rhonda has forged strong working relationships with clients, trades and industry professionals.
We believe good design brings harmony to a home and the people who occupy it. Our services range from a single room colour selection to large scale extensions and renovations.
Our aim is to help you make your space function for your needs and all who live and use the spaces, make it comfortable, reflect your personality, and be aesthetically pleasing.
How We Work - Our Process
There is no fee charged for the initial consultation. We allow an hour on site so we can gain some insight to the things you like, the scope of works, your vision for the project, your treasured pieces, and your estimated budget for the project. It is a get to know each other and designed to see if we would be a good fit.
After the initial visit, and having a clear understanding of the project, we put together a brief of works and an itemised fee proposal outlying the payment process and the timeline for the design and selection process.
We provide computer generated plans and elevations, to scale, and all our projects are presented within a detailed specification booklet including 3D renders and mood boards.

Project Management Service
Red Interiors has built solid relationships over all fields within the building industry including engineers, certifiers, builders, suppliers and trades, all working collectively to achieve a quality build.
Rhonda and her team are zealous in their commitment to scheduling, executing and controlling all aspects of your project, ensuring exceptional quality, meeting time frames and meeting all budgets.
Rhonda holds a building design licence and builders licence giving her, and her team the ability to take your project from design concept, costing, through the Council process, and the building stage, to hand over of your completed space on time and on budget.

Rhonda led us as our lead interior designer through a major renovation of our Toowoomba penthouse. She was always courteous, timely, understanding (when I changed my mind), keen to pop in her car for onsite visits, tight with budget control, professional and strict with wayward contractors and importantly for me, she was always available for reassurance at the end of the phone line. Her style is timeless and unwaveringly sympathetic to her client’s style and taste. At times our renovation became problematic (all bathroom tiles lost on a ship somewhere! painter from hell!) but her doggedness with timelines and completion dates still ensured a timely outcome. Her attention to detail (right down to the kitchen drawer inserts for example), meant we could move in to our property with ease and comfort. I would recommend Rhonda and Red Interiors without hesitation. We couldn’t have undertaken our ‘remote’ renovation without her help.
